PBWEST is Western Australia’s newest Protective Behaviours training agency.
We are associated with Protective Behaviours Australia and Protective Behaviours International.
We offer Protective Behaviours Practitioner Training that abides by the guiding principles of Protective Behaviours Australia and is in line with international process. Our child protection workshops are safe and provide the skills and knowledge necessary to your staff while making them part of the conversation, we want an interactive learning experience.
A recent participant at a Child Protection Workshop wrote to thank us for making her training safe and informative, she was dreading attending this training as a former experience of child protection training left her traumatised.
We all have the right to feel safe all of the tie and that includes those who participate in any protective Behaviours training. We care for and respect the wellbeing of all of our participants.
PBWEST training is based on the two themes of Protective Behaviours
1- We all have the right to feel, safe all of the time
2- We can talk to someone about anything
We do this by providing proactive empowering life skills to assist children, young and vulnerable people to recognise when they are feeling unsafe and how and where to go for help.
We all have the right to feel safe all of the time and that includes those who participate in any protective Behaviours training. We care for and respect the wellbeing of all of our participants
PBWEST trainers all have post graduate qualifications and have been mentored by International Protective Behaviours expert Di Margetts.
PBWEST trainers have over 20 years’ experience in working to keep children safe and as Protective Behaviours trainers.
We are proud to be preferred providers of Australian child care alliance WA and look forward to continuing to provide strategies and training that support the sector in keeping our children safe.
