Amici Early Learning and Smileys Child Care are a privately-owned Early Learning Centre catering for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years of age providing Childcare and Kindergarten. We are seeking someone with a passion for teaching and inspiring young minds to join our team and implement our Kindergarten program.

The role requires someone who is dedicated and motivated, to work with fellow team members to implement a curriculum that embraces the Early Years Learning Framework and supports children in their transition to school.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential Criteria:

- Bachelor of Education/Teaching (Early Childhood) or equivalent

- Western Australian Teacher Registration

- A highly motivated approach to providing exceptional care and education

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Monday to Friday; 6 - 7.5 hours a day

Preferred:

Experience within a Child Care service using EYLF

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities will include:

- Planning and programming for the Kindergarten Room

- Implementing the Early Years Learning Framework

- Completing observations and contributing to children's portfolios

- Supporting other staff members and overseeing of the day to day running of the room

- Creating fun and stimulating experiences to support and extend children's ongoing development
