About the role: 

We are seeking an inspire Early Childhood Teacher to join us in the beautiful South West working with manangement to support our early childhood team.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development (LDP) and training programmes.
  • To be competent and prepared to be appointed to the position of Responsible Person as required.
  • Keep up to date with current developments in the Early Childhood field.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to contribute effectively to a team environment.
  • Plan, implement and evaluate programs suitable to the individual needs and interests of the children. Use “active critical reflection” when working on each program.
  • Assist with the mentoring of permanent and casual employees.
  • Maintain ongoing records of the child’s development and daily information.
  • Ensure a high standard of hygiene in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Attend professional development and meetings after hours as required.
  • Assume an equal share of housekeeping duties and ensure equipment is respected and maintained to an optimal level of safety.
  • Attend parent meetings as required.

Qualifications & Desired Attributes:

  • Degree qualified – Early Childhood Teaching or equivalent
  • Valid WWCC, Drivers Licence, all components of childrens services First Aid qualificiation to be current upon commencement.
  • Desired, 2 years’ experience in the role or a similar position is desired.

About the Company

About the Role

The Y WA is currently seeking a Casual Diploma Qualified Educator to join our Bunbury ELC team. Providing a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment for our children and families. You will be given the opportunity to have a leadership role alongside a team of supportive and talented educators. We are seeking a confident Educator with strong communication skills for this role building genuine relationships with parents, children and staff. Successful candidate will be willing to work flexible hours and have experience working as a responsible person.

 

Duties

  • Record observations of individual children or groups
  • Implement and lead a program that reflects children’s interest, development, culture and the YMCA’s Approach to Learning
  • Use strategies to encourage children to participate in activities
  • Maintain a safe, hygienic and inspiring environment for the children attending the Centre
  • Create positive relationships with children, families and team members

 

Skills and Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Experience working as a room leader will be advantageous
  • Good communication skills both written and interpersonal
  • Enthusiasm, commitment and desire to work in Early Childhood Education and care
  • An understanding of the National Education and Care Services Regulations 2012 and NQF

Qualified Centre Manager Part time or Fulltime Position

We are a stand alone Childcare Service located in Stratton seeking to fill the role of Centre Manager on a fulltime basis. The role is mainly non contact however there will be occasions when you are called upon to support staff on the floor. We are prepared to consider part time for the right candidate.

The role requires someone with a sunny disposition as you will be the face of the service, you will be required to conduct centre tours, answer phone inquiries, respond to emails, process family bookings and accounts along with other office administration duties. You will be responsible for compiling staff rosters and supporting staff development, oversee student placements and ensure the safety and cleanliness of the faciality is maintained to a high standard. You must be prepared to take on the role of Nominated Officer/Responsible Person.

The ideal candidate must be experienced and knowledgeable with the Education and Care National Regulates and Laws, Early Years Framework and the Assessment and Rating Process with previous experience working as Centre Manager. About the Role

  • Passionate and dedicated Manager for our MercyCare Kelmscott Early Learning Centre.
  • Full-time, permanent position with flexible working hours, rostering between 6:30am – 6:00pm.
  • Reporting to the Area Manager, you will manage a highly qualified and experienced team, ensuring the provision of an educational curriculum that meets the diverse needs of the children and families in our community.

About You

  • Possess an AQF Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher as recognized by ACECQA
  • Experience managing a diverse team and fostering a friendly and inclusive culture
  • Extensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Strong knowledge of all relevant regulations and statutory requirements
  • Ability to maintain financial accounts, manage budgets and prepare reports
  • Experience in developing and implementing programs within an Education and Care Setting
  • Needs to be organized, enthusiastic, self-motivated and have effective time management skills

The Positions

Ngala is seeking two experienced and energetic Room Leaders for our Joondalup Early Learning and Development service.

  1. Room Leader - Early Childhood Teacher
  2. Room Leader - Diploma

You must have exceptional conflict resolution skills and verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

You must also possess leadership abilities, including the ability to lead by example, along with a commitment to Early Childhood development principles, professional development and working within Ngala's Early Childhood Curriculum.

Offering a family-friendly and supportive environment, and working within a purpose-built facility, you will be supported by a Centre Coordinator, Assistant Coordinator and a great team.

Variety of shifts between 6.30am - 6.15pm, Monday-Friday.
