Kenwick Childcare Centre:

We are seeking to employ a person to fullfill the role of Assistant Director/ Centre Manager. Kenwick Childcare Centre is a family owned and run centre. The successful applicant will need to fulfill the following criteria:

Criteria: Qualifications the candidate must have:

1. Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (2-3 years experience)

2. Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management and Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management

3. Working with Children Check

4. First Aid Certificate ( HTLAID004)

In addition to this the candidate must demonstrate that they have been working in this role as Assistant Director/ Centre Manager in an Early Childhood Care Centre for a minimum of 2 years. They must have a knowledge of NQS and Education Care Regulations.

Role will include but not limited to:

1. Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team and running of the centreto provide high quality care

2. Responsible for the overall mangement of the Centre in the absence of the director

3. Ensure the centre's policies and proceduresare followed, this includes reviewing the policies annually

 

Fulltime position 37.5 hours per week. Shifts vary  as the centre is open from 06.30hours to 1800hours. Salary is in accordance with Modern Award: Children's Services Awards 2010 (depending on level of experience)
